Background

NutriCare products were developed by Dean Distributors (Cambridge’s parent Company) for distribution in the nursing home and long-term health care markets. In 1996, the Dean laboratories working with Sunkist flavor technology developed a unique sugar free beverage crystal that was an instant success with health care customers. Recognizing the importance of non-caloric fluid intake in the Cambridge programs, Dean developed smaller, more flexible packaging and introduced the NutriCare Beverage Crystals to the Cambridge Product line in 1998.

Packaging

Packaged by flavor in boxes of 12 packets. Each packet makes 2 quarts of beverage. Also available in a variety pack with four packets of each flavor. Unopened shelf life is one year.
